Hello my lovely readers. Today I would like to reveal the secret to glowing skin, losing weight, reversing grey hair, rejuvenate aging cells, tightening lose saggy skin and soothing your skin ailments. The secret is an abundance of raw food.
By raw food, sometimes called live or living food, I don’t mean sushi with raw tuna or salmon. I mean all the fruit, vegetable and nuts you can think of. When eating raw you are feeding your body with foods in their most natural state; nutritionally-dense organic uncooked and unprocessed food. Your body will be able to digest these much faster than any cooked or processed food and use the saved energy to burn fat instead. By eating raw you are cleansing your body and boosting it with nutrients and vitamins and allowing it to work at its best. You don’t have to go fully raw, just start with lovely salad for lunch, or swap one of your creamy teas for homemade and delicious tasting raw pie. Well as it happens I have one for you here today J
The raw food diet contains fewer trans fats and saturated fat than any other diet. It is also low in sugar and sodium and high in potassium, magnesium, folate, fiber, vitamin A, and health-promoting antioxidants. Before you proceed to get the recipe, let me just list a few benefits of eating raw food:
- Increased energy and stamina
- Improved skin
- Improved health
- Mental clarity and focus
- Decreased cravings
- Improved confidence
- Slowing the aging process and reduce inflammation
Ok, here is the recipe for Raw Banana and Peanut Butter Cupcakes
BASE:
1/2 cup of almonds
1/2 cup of dates
1/4 cup of gluten-free oats
3/4 cup of desiccated coconut
1 tsp of vanilla extract
TOPPING:
2 very ripe bananas
1/2 cup of coconut oil (no need to melt)
1/2 cup of Brazil nuts
2 tbsp. of almond butter
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Process:
Base:
Soak the dates in warm water for 15 min. Then start by placing almonds into your food processor. It doesn’t have to be flour consistency, just nicely grounded. Add the rest of the ingredients and combine very well. Now get cupcake forms and fill them half way through with the mixture. Press down firmly and set aside.
Topping:
Start by processing the Brazil nuts until flour like consistency. Add rest of the ingredients in and process until smooth. Make sure there are no lumps.
Scoop the filling onto the crust and place the cupcakes into the freezer for minimum an hour. Enjoy loads and loads. You can keep them in the fridge or freezer.
