Set a September goal for yourself, have it be out of your comfort zone. Whether or not you succeed at achieving the goal is not the point, it is about the actions you take as you work towards the goal. Take at least one action every day. It can be simple and small, or big and complicated. Having goals and dreams is what drives us, and this is a perfect time to live into those dreams. Do your best not to judge yourself or others, let your opinions rest, and see what happens to your mood and energy when you take your complaints and spin them into compliments and possibilities!
September Challenge:
Back to Basics. Just breathe.
Sit up tall, bring your focus to the breath. Breath in and out through the nose for 20 breaths. With each inhale imagine you are breathing in new energy and new light. On the exhale allow anything that no longer serves you to release, and let it go. You are creating space to transform, shift, and change that which has not been serving you into openness for possibility.
"These days, my practice is teaching me to embrace imperfection: to have compassion for all the ways things haven't turned out as I planned, in my body and in my life - for the ways things keep falling apart, and failing, and breaking down. It's less about fixing things, and more about learning to be present for exactly what is." - Anne Cushman
